Unit 5: Right now
These are the activities for unit 5:
1. The weather:
Choose a city and listen to a weather forecast on this page.
Play a memory game, click on start first.
2. Present continuous:
Practise the present continuous in these exercises:

Practise the questions in present continuous in these exercises:

You can test your present continuous skills in the following tests.
Select the options "6 parts" and "all the tasks" in the drop down menu to make sure we all do the same ones. Then click on "do the test"

Practise the difference between the present simple and the present continuous in these exercises:

You can test your skills at differentiating the use of these tenses. Same instructions as above.

5. e-card
Go to this website and choose an e-card. Click on email this card (top left button). A black box will appear were you have to fill in all the information. Write a message to a friend and send a copy to me so I can correct it. Remember to remove the ticks on the special offers, so you don't get junk mail.

And that will be all for unit 5. Remember that you have to copy the sentences onto your notebook to help you memorising, and that you can redo the tasks as many times as you want. There is no better way to learn a language than practise, practise, practise...
