25/12/2015

Tres lavadoras por plegar,
una tendida,
el patio huele a gambas y caldo

Salgo en pijama a por el pan,
la calle está desierta,
recien regada.

En navidad
los haikus son más
largos

Feliz

April fools

April Fools' Day has been celebrated for several centuries by different cultures, its exact origins are a mistery. Some historians think that it dated back to 1582, when France switched from the Julian to the Gregorina calendar. People who were slow to get the news or failed to recognise that the start of the year has moved to January 1st and continued to celebrate on April 1st became the butt of jokes and hoaxes.
Historians have also linked April Fools' Day to ancient festivals celebrated in Rome at the end of March, that involved people dressing up in disguises, like our carnival. It might be also tied to the spring equinox, when Mother Nature fooled people with changing, unpredictable weather.
In modern times, people go to great lengths to create elaborate April Fools' Day hoaxes. Newspapers, radio and TV stations and Web sites participate in this tradition, reporting outrageous fictional claims that fool their audiences every year.
